The Carnival house is Located in Barrio Abajo, a traditional neighborhood in Barranquilla, this architectural piece was built in 1929 manteined its colonial style and it was remodel by the Caridi Mitriani family in the 90s and handed over to the Carnival Foundation of Barranquilla as the venue where the organization of the festivity is develop and  meeting point of its participants and a very special venue for events. It is one of the favorite attractions of the city and currently promotes the recovery of the neighborhood through handicrafts, gastronomy, music and other culture elements of the city 

Masks, costumes and different expressions of the biggest festivity in Colombia can be seen in the interactive room “Elsa Caridi” to learn and enjoy through a sensory and didactic experience the most representative cultural manifestations of the Carnival of Barranquilla. Its contemporary design is based on the collection of documents, photographs and audiovisual memory of this celebration.
